Get Started with Figment MPL in Minutes
Install Figment MPL
Install Figment MPL via the monday.com marketplace. Search for “Figment MPL,” click “Add to monday.com,” and choose your subscription level.
Add the Figment Board View
Open a board, click on the list of views, select “+ Add View” → “More Views,” and search for “Figment Convert” to add it.
Click "Get Started"
This sets up a secure link between monday and Figment and ensures your files are safe while being converted and viewed.
Prepare your columns
Prepare your board with a File Name column (required) to link files with items. Optional columns include Files, Drawings, and Images.
Add the Figment Item Views
Open any item on your board to access the side panel, then click the “+” button in the panel.
Search for “Figment 3D Viewer” or “Figment DXF Viewer” and select it to add the desired view.
Enter your File Names
Return to your board and enter your file names in the File Name column.
For faster setup, you can use our Excel template and import file names (without extensions) in bulk. Download the Excel template here.
Upload your files
In the Figment Convert View, add the files you'd like to upload.
Figment will convert the 3D models, link them to their respective board items, generate images and 2D drawing PDFs where required.
Track conversion progress
Conversions happen in the background, but you can monitor the Status Tab in the Figment Convert View to track progress.
Preview 3d in the Board View
Once conversions are complete, preview models directly in the Figment Convert View.
Your documents are now associated to the Item
Return to your item, and you’ll see the uploaded files added, with the viewer displaying the 3D model directly within the item.
